I was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. I began painting and writing seriously after losing my husband.
I found my way back to creativity through painting. It was the first outlet that truly helped me process everything I was feeling; it became a cathartic, grounding force in my life. Writing had always been something I loved, but it wasn’t until I began For the Love of Fame that I approached it with real intention. That story became a turning point, an emotional journey that helped me explore love, grief, identity, and the quiet strength it takes to grow through loss.
I live with my mini Australian Shepherd, Freya, and three wonderful cats: Mouse, Rascal, and Loki. When I’m not writing, I’m working my regular 9-to-5 job as an accounting/HR manager, painting, or spending time with my pets. I’ve always been drawn to stories that feel real, honest, emotional, sometimes complicated, and ultimately full of heart.
Plot and Paint is my blog where everything comes together. A space for stories that bloom and brushstrokes that come straight from the heart.
